A History of Innovation Nestled in the heart of the White Mountains of New Hampshire, Labonville Inc. was founded in 1953 by Emilian Labonville (1919-1999)(On the phone in above picture). As a leading logger in the Northeast, employing 114 men and 55 work horses our company progressed through the years with the Forest Industry from the horse pulling days to today’s highly mechanized logging operations with our famous work and sport gear! In 1981, we were awarded the safety award for outstanding contributions to safety by the Northeastern loggers association at the Annual Loggers Congress. All of our products are developed and field tested under the severest weather conditions in the world! On April 12, 1934 in the rugged White Mountains of Northern NH, on top of MT. Washington, the highest peak in the Northeast (6,288' above see level, located 7 miles down the road), the highest wind speed ever recorded was 231 mph, a record that still holds today! Just imagine the wind chill factor! Our gear is still used on the mountain by the maintenance crew, hikers, clearers and many others. To all our customers a big thanks for helping us get to where we are today, because without you we wouldn't be here. To all newcomers, thank you for the opportunity of serving your needs.
